Fortune Media Corporation

Fortune Media Corporation, also known as Fortune Media Group, is the multinational media company that publishes Fortune magazine, Fortune.com, and other business media (including the Global Forum, Most Powerful Women, and Brainstorm conferences) under the Fortune brand. The company is headquartered in New York City and is owned by Thai businessman Chatchaval Jiaravanon. The magazine Fortune was the 1930 creation of Henry Luce, co-founder of Time Incorporated, which at its peak was both the largest magazine publisher in the United States and the world. Fortune Media emerged in December 2018 after Meredith Corp.—which acquired Time Inc. in January 2018—sold Fortune to Jiaravanon for $150 million.
