Airbnb

The online marketplace lets people rent their homes, condos, and apartments along with providing them with activities like cooking lessons and guided visits to historical sites. More recently, the company has debuted luxury rentals that include French chateaus, Moroccan villas, and South African beach houses. But the service still faces complaints about displacing full-time tenants, its guests hosting out-of-control parties, and landlords discriminating against minorities.
